How Bingo Games Work

As with other gambling games, there are lots of different versions of bingo available. The two main ones are 90-ball and 75-ball bingo. For 90-ball bingo, each card has a three-row, nine-column grid, with each row containing five numbers, for a total of fifteen numbers to mark off. The numbers 1-90 are called out and you can win by matching one row of numbers, two rows, or all three rows (this is also known as full house). For 75-ball bingo, the card has a 5x5 grid with all positions except the central one containing numbers, for a total of twenty-four numbers on the card. When playing this bingo version, the numbers called range from 1-75 and you can win by matching lines or completing patterns, or by matching all twenty-four numbers.
Another popular version of bingo you’ll come across is 80-ball bingo. As its name suggests, the numbers called range from 1-80. For this bingo game, card have a 4x4 grid and you can win by matching lines or completing patterns, or matching all twenty-four numbers on the grid. There’s also speed bingo, which is played with 75 numbers and is a lot more fast-paced than standard 75-ball bingo. Even though bingo games vary in how many numbers used, how the cards are arranged and how you can win, once you’ve grasped the basics of the game, you should be able to play all its different versions with ease.
When playing online bingo, you can pick how many cards you want to play with.
